Dry Pine Bedding: Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is Dry Pine Bedding?

Dry Pine Bedding is a premium horse bedding made from dry pine wood.  Our bedding is made here in Atlanta, for horses, by horse lovers. We pride ourselves on the reliability of our bedding. It is always dry, sturdy, and perfectly absorbent for your bedding needs.

2. What makes Dry Pine Bedding different from other beddings?

To start, our bedding is made locally in North Atlanta by horse owners. Initially, the owner, Jorge Andrade, started creating DPB for his horses. Over time, friends tried out the bedding strongly encouraged him to sell it.

We pride ourselves on being environmentally friendly; we do not cut down any trees. We simply recycle quality pine wood going to waste. We deliver in loads and reusable bags to cut down on plastic waste. Our bedding is soft, sturdy, absorbent, and durable.

3. Is it abrasive?

No, Dry Pine Bedding is especially soft. Our customers love that about it, DPB does the job while keeping your horse comfortable.

4. How much do I need?

Quantity may be based on how many horses and stalls you have and how much you personally like to put in each stall (we recommend you lay it thick for best performance). Generally from experience, our customers have noticed DPB may last them up to 1.5 times longer than most other product in the market. Call us today for our recommendation!

5. How much stall maintenance is required?

Maintenance could be based on your preferred schedule and cleanliness. Many farmers like to clean their stalls daily and replace the bedding weekly, others more often. Cleaning out the stall would be quite easy as our DPB sifts through the waste tool quite effortlessly.

Through experimentation, we have noticed it can keep a stall dry for up to 2-3 weeks!

6. Is it dusty?

Though a small amount may get mixed in, our approach on making Dry Pine Bedding allows the dust to naturally be at a minimum as it separates itself through the process and create a near perfect product.

7. Is it absorbent?

Yes, Dry Pine Bedding is very absorbent. Unlike other beddings which absorb too little and can cause some extra maintenance, DPB absorbs instantly to keep a dry and clean feel for the horses, and keep your horses comfortable.

8. What do you mean by risk free trial?

You might not believe our claims, but we believe you would love Dry Pine Bedding as much as we do, that’s why we want you to try it out for free! Call us today for more information.

9. How far will you deliver?

Because we are a smaller company, right now we mainly deliver to the North Atlanta area. Either way give us a call and we can work something out for you.

10. Do you have stable inventory?

Yes, we have developed a process through which our raw material comes at a steady pace. It is always best to call and ask for our availability to deliver!

11. What if I don’t want 25 yards?

Delivery is free for those whom would like a whole load of 25 yards in our area, but if they are asking for less, or a bit out of our area, a delivery fee may be added. Also, we offer other products such as our bulk one yard bags or our NEW 3 cubic foot bags!

Dry Pine Bedding allows for a stall that is easy to maintain. It absorbs urine from the ground up and moves easily through the cleaning process. We provide differently packaged Dry Pine Bedding to help you move around our product as you like.
